Belmond UK Ltd is seeking a Divisional Director of Engineering to oversee Maintenance and Engineering for thirteen luxury hotels in Southern Europe. You will drive capital projects, design and supervise complex hotel systems, and ensure safety, efficiency and guest satisfaction.

You will lead engineering teams, manage budgets, advance sustainability initiatives, and maintain vendor relationships while coordinating with Design & Construction for seamless project delivery across heritage

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Experience managing large-scale construction and renovation projects.
• Knowledge of hotel engineering systems and energy efficiency.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with luxury hotels and heritage properties.

Mansioni

• Lead engineering for renovations, new developments and capex from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with Design & Construction to meet specs, budgets and timelines; oversee commissioning.
• Provide leadership to hotel Directors of Engineering and teams; conduct audits and ensure compliance.
• Develop and manage divisional engineering budgets (CapEx and OpEx).
• Manage energy initiatives and sustainability across operations.
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships; negotiate contracts.
