Belmond is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to support the Chief Engineer across Splendido, Splendido Mare and Villa Beatrice in Portofino, Italy. The role involves assisting in daily operations and maintenance to ensure smooth facilities management.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, 2+ years in hospitality, and knowledge of MEP systems, safety standards, and sustainability initiatives. On-site benefits include staff housing and a comprehensive package.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality or tourism.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Mansioni

• Assist the Chief Engineer in daily operations and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
• Help in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist in maintaining records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Support administrative practices of the department, in line with policies and procedures.
