A luxury skincare brand is seeking a Director of Public Relations. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of PR experience, a passion for natural skincare, and strong communication skills in English. Responsibilities include developing PR strategies, enhancing brand visibility, and managing media relations. We are seeking an ambitious and driven fluent English-speaking Director of Public Relations with a keen interest in natural skincare, to help create and implement communication strategies, activities and PR campaigns across traditional media as well as all digital channels.

Our ideal candidate will be passionate and career-driven while possessing extensive

experience with a skincare brand and a keen interest in holistic beauty.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and implement sales strategies: Develop comprehensive and actionable sales strategies that align with business objectives, market trends, and customer needs; oversee their implementation and continuously monitor their effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to maximize revenue growth.
• Drive brand awareness: Execute multifaceted initiatives to enhance brand visibility and recognition across various platforms and channels, thereby increasing market share and fostering a strong brand presence within the target audience.
• Write and divulge press releases: Compose well-structured and compelling press releases that accurately convey key information.
• Facilitate press trips and host media visits as required: Coordinate and manage detailed press trips and media visits, ensuring all logistical arrangements are meticulously planned and executed, providing personalized experiences, and maximizing opportunities for positive press coverage.
• Organize media events, press conferences and exhibitions: Plan and execute impactful media events, press conferences, and exhibitions, including securing venues, managing attendee lists, developing presentations and materials, and ensuring seamless event flow to achieve desired communication objectives.
• Liaise with external PR agencies and journalists: Establish and maintain strong relationships with external PR agencies and journalists, serving as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, coordinating communication efforts, and ensuring alignment with the organization's public relations strategy.

Key skills and requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in PR, social media, and skincare marketing.

• Strong writing skills with a deep understanding of skincare ingredients and trends.

• Ability to travel to Borgo Santo Pietro for events and brand activations.

• Multitasker who thrives in a fast-moving, international environment.

• Excellent spoken and written English skills. Italian knowledge is a strong plus. Any other languages spoken is considered as a plus.

• Hold a driver's license.
