EdgeConneX seeks a Director of Operations - Italy to lead all Italian data centre sites, ensuring uptime, safety, and SLA compliance while aligning with corporate objectives.
The role requires 12+ years in data centre operations, a technical engineering background, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, and HR. Travel is significant in the initial period, with onsite relocation training.

The Director of Operations - Italy, is EdgeConneX’s regional operations leader will be accountable for the 24×7×365 performance of all data centres across Italy. This role is responsible for translating corporate objectives into executable regional plans, leading Campus Managers and site teams through established policies and standards, and driving continuous improvement in operational procedures and practices. The Director will oversee regional budget execution, shapes workforce priorities, and partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders including, Sales, Engineering, PMO, and Customer teams.
This role requires onsite training and onboarding at one or more EdgeConneX locations. Travel is expected to be significant during the first six months.
The starting salary will be no less than €68,880 gross per year and the final offer will be fine tuned based on gender neutral criteria of candidates, including but not limited to competencies, responsibilities, effort and work conditions.
