ITA Airways, the Italian national airline, is hiring Direct Entry Pilots Not Rated. As a high performing pilot, you will contribute to safe, efficient flights and exceptional passenger experiences while upholding rigorous standards.

The role requires CPL, ATPL knowledge, MCC, PBN endorsement, and UPRT training, with a permanent contract and a fixed base salary paid over 14 monthly installments. Applicants must meet EU work eligibility and language requirements.

We are looking for:

Direct Entry Pilots Not Rated

As a high performing and motivated Direct Entry Pilot, delivering consistent operational excellence in the sky whilst maintaining our high safety standards, you will give our customers an exceptional journey.

What are we looking for?

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree
• Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
• Eligibility to live and work in the European Union
• Valid passport issued by an EU Member State
• English language proficiency at ICAO Level 4 or higher

LICENCE AND RATING REQUIREMENTS

• EASA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
• Valid ATPL theoretical knowledge certificate, issued by the competent Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) or endorsed on the licence
• Certificate of Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course
• Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) endorsement
• Certificate of Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) Course

NOTES

• Flight hours declared in the application must not include simulator hours
• Candidates holding a DLR certificate are kindly requested to attach it to their application (not mandatory). DLR result will be considered valid if obtained within the 24 months

What do we offer?

Permanent contract.

Base salary paid over 14 monthly: 839,42€

Additional variable pay elements in accordance with the applicable Company collective labour agreement signed on 22 July 2026.

The job offer and pertinent compensation are subject to the successful completion of all stages of the training process required by the Operator Conversion Course/Type rating.
