Job summary

Magnum Icc Sweden Supply Ab is seeking a Digital Network Specialist to join the IT team. You will ensure reliable factory IT/OT infrastructure, manage connectivity, and support digitalization projects across the organization.

The role requires a strong system and networking background, knowledge of industrial environments, and experience with Azure cloud services. You will work with engineering, maintenance, and external suppliers in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

  • Background in engineering disciplines related to IT/OT infrastructure.
  • Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, switching, routing.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and IT/OT cybersecurity principles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT operational support for the factory, including tickets resolution and access management.
  • Manage IT/OT network infrastructure and industrial communication.
  • Operate servers, virtual machines, and infrastructure devices hosting factory applications.
  • Interface with Global IT for infrastructure, connectivity, support and cybersecurity activities.
  • Provide technical support to software and automation suppliers during installation and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure reliable data communication between shop-floor systems and Azure-based solutions.
  • Support digitalization and automation projects with infrastructure and data integration work.
  • Maintain technical documentation of network and IT/OT infrastructure.

The role

The Digital Network Specialist will join the IT team as a technical specialist for the Factory IT/OT infrastructure, networking and industrial data connectivity. The role will support the reliability, connectivity and security of factory systems, working closely with Global IT team, Engineering, Maintenance and external technology suppliers. The Digital Network Specialist will also support factory digitalization initiatives while contributing to the migration of IT systems from Unilever to TMICC platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong system and networking background, complemented by knowledge of industrial automation environments and enterprise cloud applications.

What you'll be responsible for
  • Provide day-to-day IT operational support for the factory, including users' tickets resolution, access and permission management, according to corporate standards.
  • Support the management and troubleshooting of IT and OT network infrastructure, connected devices and industrial communication.
  • Manage and support servers, virtual machines and infrastructure devices hosting factory applications.
  • Interface with Global IT for infrastructure, connectivity, support and cybersecurity activities.
  • Provide technical support to software and automation suppliers during installation, integration and troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring reliable data communication between shop-floor systems, digital applications and Azure based solutions.
  • Support digitalization and automation projects by providing technical expertise on infrastructure, connectivity, devices and data integration requirements
  • Maintain technical documentation of network, IT/OT infrastructure and configurations.
We're looking for someone who
  • Has a background in Computer Engineering, Automation, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Has good knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, switching and routing.
  • Has experience with servers, virtual machines and IT/OT infrastructure.
  • Understands industrial networks, connected devices and industrial communication protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus TCP, Profinet, EtherNet/IP).
  • Has knowledge of Azure cloud services.
  • Understands IT and OT cybersecurity principles (certification is a plus).
  • Can independently troubleshoot infrastructure, network and connectivity issues.
  • Has experience working with software, automation and technology suppliers.
  • Takes ownership, works collaboratively and is comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.
