E-Plato in Milan seeks a DevOps/Platform Engineer to turn Socrate into a self-installing product across customer environments. You’ll build repeatable pipelines, modular Terraform, and Helm charts to deploy anywhere, including air-gapped networks.
You’ll work with our CTO on prioritization, extending AWS, Azure or GCP, and enabling secure, scalable installations in production. This role is on-site in Milan.
A production line stops. A technician opens a 400-page electrical schematic and starts looking. Sometimes it takes twenty minutes. Sometimes it's 3 a.m., it takes six hours, and the plant burns thousands of euros an hour.
We build the software that tells them where to look. Now we need someone to make it install itself anywhere.
Socrate reads electrical schematics in every format the factory uses, reads PLC code from any vendor, connects the two and points the technician to the fault. It's not a chatbot with RAG bolted on: every answer traces back to the exact component and the exact line of code it came from. In a plant, that's the only way anyone trusts it.
E-Plato, Milan. VC-backed, Bocconi for Innovation (B4i) alumni. Multinational industrial customers who pay, use the product every day, and renew.
You'll be our first DevOps / Platform Engineer. Not to babysit servers: to turn Socrate into a product that installs itself in any customer environment.
We run on AWS with Terraform and Kubernetes. Customers want Socrate on their own cloud, whatever the provider, and some want it inside their plants, on networks that never touch the internet. Today every installation still takes too much manual work, and every new customer makes that problem bigger.
There's more to fix than one person can do in a year. Part of the job is deciding what comes first. You'll work directly with our CTO.
