RIMOND, Milan-based, seeks a talented Design Specialist with a strong architectural background and solid BIM expertise to join our international team. You will work with senior architects and report to the Technical Director, contributing to complex projects from concept to detailed design.

The role requires a Master in Architecture, Italian registration, and at least 2 years of experience on national and international projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, and Revit is essential.

• Master's Degree in Architecture (Master in Digital Design or BIM is a plus)

• Strong conceptual, design, and technical development skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Adobe Suite; Good BIM knowledge (Revit)

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and motivated Design Specialist with a strong architectural background and solid BIM expertise, eager to develop within a dynamic and international design environment. You will join our Milan based team and contribute to the development of complex projects, working closely with senior architects and reporting to the Technical Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of architectural concepts and design solutions, actively participating in all project phases, from concept to detailed design


• Develop and refine architectural design proposals, producing drawings, 3D studies, and design options in line with project requirements


• Develop and manage BIM models (Revit or equivalent), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with design intent


• Produce and edit 2D drawings and 3D models related to the project, ensuring high technical and graphical quality


• Apply architectural design principles, zoning regulations, building codes, and construction systems in the development of the project


• Support the preparation of drawing sets, renderings, and technical documentation


• Contribute to design iterations through modeling, visualization, and technical detailing


• Ensure consistency between drawings and BIM models, supporting design accuracy and coordination input where required


• Collaborate within multidisciplinary design teams, contributing to the development of integrated design solutions


• Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring design quality and technical correctness throughout all deliverables

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Architecture (Master in Digital Design or BIM is a plus)


• Registration with the Italian Architects Board


• At least 2 years of experience working on national and international projects


• Strong conceptual, design, and technical development skills


• Proven ability to develop architectural solutions through drawings and 3D/BIM modeling


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Adobe Suite


• Good knowledge of BIM software (Revit) and related workflows


• Solid understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction systems


• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with precision and initiative


• Proactiveness, passion, and strong motivation to grow as a design professional


• Fluency in Italian and English

Compensation and Employment Terms

The compensation and contractual terms will be defined based on the requirements of the position, as well as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and professional experience. The expected annual consultancy fee for the position ranges from €30,000 to €35,000, to be agreed upon based on the candidate’s profile and the terms of the consultancy agreement.
