Richieste: oltre 5 anni di esperienza come design/technical manager, background in main contracting, esperienza M&E, laurea in Architettura o Ingegneria, passaporto UE o RTW italiano. Ruolo stabile con prospettive di crescita.

Competenze

• Oltre cinque anni di esperienza come responsabile progettazione/tecnica presso un developer/main contractor.
• Precedente esperienza M&E essenziale.
• Background in appalto principale.
• Storia di completamento progetti nei tempi e nel budget.
• Passaporto UE o RTW italiano essenziale.

• Gestire e coordinare i consulenti esterni.
• Garantire riunioni regolari con il team di produzione per risolvere problemi tecnici.

I am currently recruiting a Design Manager for a reputable General Contractor to be based on a large scale data centre project in the Milan area, the next project on a large campus that will see work continue for years to come. It is a great time to join the business as they are going through a very healthy growth phase and can offer tremendous career progression opportunities. Project delivery ability, proven track record, knowledge of CSA and M&E packages experience is key. Salary is very much dependant on experience, but there is flexibility for high performers who have successfully delivered large data centre projects in the past.

Design Manager Responsibilities

• Regular meetings with the production team and ensuring all technical issues are addressed immediately
• Manage and coordinate external consultants
• Liaise with key personnel within the project team in preparation of project costing and design works
• Control the design process, from planning application through to project completion
• Ensure consultants prepare the detailed design by Employers Requirement and Contractors Proposals
• Manage and review the design development process ensuring value engineering and buildability are considered
• Review design development to allow construction of works to follow safe working practices

Design Manager Background

• Over five years’ experience as a design/technical manager with a developer/main contractor
• Previous M&E experience is essential
• Main contracting background
• History of completing projects on time and budget
• EU PASSPORT OR ITALIAN RTW ESSENTIAL
• A degree in Architecture or Engineering
