Hitachi Rail cerca un ingegnere di Design & Installation motivato, basato in Italia, per guidare l'installazione di sistemi ferroviari avanzati.

Il candidato collaborerà con BIM manager, disegnerà percorsi cavi, verificherà progetti e parteciperà alle riunioni di clash detection, garantendo qualità e conformità.

Competenze

• 5-10 anni di esperienza in progettazione installazioni tecnologiche, preferibilmente contesto ferroviario.
• Sopralluoghi in cantiere su lavori di installazione o infrastrutture esistenti per reperire informazioni.
• Dimensionare percorsi e cunicoli considerando condizioni esistenti.
• Familiarità con la Requirements Traceability Matrix e gli strumenti Interface Registers.
• Gestione tecnica dei subappaltatori.
• Competenze avanzate in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.

Mansioni

• Identificare i requisiti contrattuali in termini di progetto installazione equipaggiamenti e percorsi cavi e monitorare la conformità al contratto.
• Progettare, coordinare e verificare l'installazione dei principali sistemi ferroviari (Segnali, Alimentazione e trazione, OCS, Telecomunicazioni, Biglietteria automatica, Sicurezza) in conformità al contratto e alle normative.
• Progettare e verificare il layout dei percorsi e delle vie cavi nelle sale tecniche e lungo l'opera, gestendo riempimenti e proponendo nuove vie.
• Collaborare con BIM Manager/BIM Coordinator per definire le informazioni per i modelli BIM secondo il BIM Execution Plan.
• Preparare e partecipare a incontri di clash detection e risolvere conflitti tra le tecnologie ferroviarie.
• Garantire l'applicazione di procedure di qualità per l'emissione di documenti in tutte le fasi di progettazione.
• Identificare criticità nel processo di sviluppo e proporre azioni di mitigazione.
• Rappresentare il team di ingegneria installazioni e supportare le scelte progettuali con il cliente.
• Uso proattivo di BIM e CAD per definire interfacce e gestione progetti.

Job Description:

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Design & Installation Engineer.

The successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry, managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based in Italy.

Accountabilities

• Identify contract requirements in terms of equipment and cableways installation design and monitor their compliance with the contract.
• Design, coordinate and verify the installation design of the main railway systems technologies (Signalling, Power Supply and Traction Power, Overhead Contact Line, Telecommunications, Automatic Fare Collection, Security/Surveillance, Public Address, etc.), ensuring its compliance with the contract, system requirements, and local regulations.
• Design, coordinate and verify the cableways layout and cable routes within technical rooms and along the track system, managing filling ratios, challenging existing pathways, and proposing new ones.
• Cooperate with BIM Manager and BIM Coordinator in the definition of all required information to define equipment BIM models, based on the target level of development identified in the BIM Execution Plan.
• Prepare, attend chair clash detection resolution meetings. Manage and seek resolution of clashes among Railway technologies.
• Ensure the application of quality procedures for document issuance at every stage of design.
• Identify critical issues in project development and propose mitigation actions.
• Represent the installation engineering team and support design choices with the client.

• Proficiently use BIM and CAD software for interface definition and management, as part of the project delivery strategy according to the Engineering Management Plan.

Required Skills/ Knowledge

• 5 to 10 years of experience in technologies installation design, preferably within the Railway Engineering context, as per the accountabilities description.
• Site surveying activity on installation works or existing infrastructures to gather information to complete installation design.
• Identify, understand and overcome installation challenges during design development.
• Size pathways and raceways considering existing conditions.
• Familiarity with Requirement Traceability Matrix and Interface Registers tools.
• Technical management of subcontractors
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to changes in a project environment.
• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
• Knowledge of Common Data environment tools for BIM processes.
• Previous construction experience will be considered as a plus.

• Civil Engineering/Building Engineering/Architecture Degree

• Electrical Engineering Degree will be considered in selection process, if the candidate shows proof of wide installation design expertise in railway sector.

Alla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B2, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale. Retribuzione annua lorda compresa tra 36.000€ e 48.000€.
