Job summary

Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, in Taormina, Sicily, seeks a driven Demi Chef de Partie to support the Chef de Partie and contribute to exceptional culinary experiences in a luxury setting.

The role requires 2+ years in fine-dining, strong mise en place, HACCP knowledge, Italian fluency and English. You will supervise juniors, maintain standards, and help reduce waste while delivering excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in 5-star hotels or fine dining.
• Solid foundational cooking techniques and passion to learn.
• Strong teamwork and composure during peak hours.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in daily prep and service.
• Prepare seasonal ingredients per Executive Chef recipes and quality standards.
• Supervise Commis de Cuisine and maintain station cleanliness.
• Uphold food waste reduction and sustainability practices.
• Ensure health, safety, and HACCP compliance across all workstations.
