Weeks Marine, Inc. seeks personnel to operate dredge and support vessels along with project site equipment. This role reports to the Captain and requires endurance to live aboard for full rotations.

The ideal candidate can handle 84-hour weeks, understands hand signals, and communicates effectively with crew while performing deck maintenance, mooring, cable work and equipment loading. Safety and compliance are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to work 84 hour work week.
• Ability to live aboard vessel for full rotation.
• Ability to understand hand signals.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with craft workers under supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools safely and efficiently.

Aufgaben

• Secure mooring lines to the dredge, scows, dredge Tender or attending plant.
• Splice and repair cables and towing ropes.
• Assist with lubrication of deck machinery.
• Load and unload materials from the dredge, deck barges, scows and equipment.
• Sweep and wash decks on the dredge and attending plant.
• Chip and paint decks and superstructure.
• Assist with work on lines, scow, or attending plant.
• Assist with anchors and spud systems.
• Clean pump and work on cutter head.
• Deploy survival craft safely and evacuate site personnel (MMC with AB endorsement).
• Follow safety policies and maintain an Incident and Injury Free environment.
