Ably Resources is seeking a Deck Engineering Coordinator for a major oil & gas project in Lombardia, Italy. You will be responsible for coordinating deck and topsides engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project requirements.

The successful candidate must have a degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Marine Engineering and possess strong coordination skills. Experience in offshore projects, particularly FPSO and platforms, is essential.

Competenze

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Structural or Marine Engineering.
• Previous experience within offshore oil & gas projects, ideally FPSO, platform or topsides environments.
• Experience working within EPC/EPCI project environments.

Mansioni

• Coordinate deck engineering activities across design, fabrication and installation phases.
• Interface with internal engineering disciplines, vendors, subcontractors and offshore teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards and HSE requirements.

Conoscenze

Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills

We are currently supporting a major oil & gas project in the search for a Deck Engineering Coordinator to join the team on a long-term basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating deck and topsides engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring deliverables are completed safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate deck engineering activities across design, fabrication and installation phases.
• Interface with internal engineering disciplines, vendors, subcontractors and offshore teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards and HSE requirements.
• Support planning, progress tracking and technical reviews of deck-related scopes.
• Assist with resolving technical queries, interface issues and engineering changes.
• Monitor engineering deliverables to ensure schedules and quality standards are achieved.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Structural or Marine Engineering (or similar).
• Previous experience within offshore oil & gas projects, ideally FPSO, platform or topsides environments.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within EPC/EPCI project environments.
• Familiarity with offshore installation, fabrication and construction activities would be advantageous.
