Job summary

Bluewater is seeking an experienced Mate for a 40m private motor yacht currently in Italy with plans to move to the Caribbean in November. This permanent position requires strong deck experience and appropriate certifications (Mate II/3 or Master 200, ECDIS).

The yacht sails West Med in summer and Caribbean in winter, with a favorable end-year bonus and crew course allowance. Contract is permanent with the Marshall Islands flag.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of yacht deck experience.
• Mate II/3 or Master 200 with ECDIS certification.
• Experience on private motor yachts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and navigation duties aboard a 40m yacht.
• Assist the Master and vigilantly watch as required.
• Coordinate watch routines and vessel handling with the crew.
