Job summary

IYC is seeking a Sole Engineer for a 40m motor yacht charter, based in Italy. This permanent position starts soon and involves the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all engineering systems. You may be required to lend a hand on deck from time to time when asked.

New Build experience is beneficial for this role, and meals are provided onboard. We value both experienced professionals and those starting their maritime careers, and our Crew Placement team offers guidance throughout

Qualifications

• Experience in operation and maintenance of engineering systems on yachts.
• New Build experience is beneficial.
• Ability to assist on deck when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all engineering systems on a 40m charter yacht.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of propulsion, electrical, and auxiliary systems.
• Provide occasional deck support as needed and support the crew as required.

We are after a Y3 (III/3) Engineer for a 40m MY. Single season based in Italy. Permanent position to start with the next 2 week. The role involves responsibility for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all engineering systems. The candidate will also be expected to help out on deck from time to time when required. New Build experience is beneficial. Salary €6500-€7000.
