A major international energy company is seeking an experienced Deck E&I Supervisor for a critical site-based role in Ravenna, Italy. This position involves supervising electrical and instrumentation installation, coordinating contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Candidates should have significant experience in oil & gas, offshore, or major construction projects, and be fluent in English. Preference will be given to those currently authorized to work in Italy or based in Europe.

Overview

Ably Resources is supporting a major international energy project with the appointment of an experienced Deck E&I Supervisor to join its team supporting yard and offshore activities in Ravenna, Italy.

This is a key site-based role supporting electrical and instrumentation scope across a complex offshore package. The successful candidate will be involved in supervising installation activities, coordinating contractors, supporting testing and commissioning readiness, and ensuring work is executed safely and to specification.

Responsibilities

• Supervising deck electrical and instrumentation installation activities
• Coordinating contractors and site teams across E&I scope
• Monitoring progress against project drawings, specifications and quality requirements
• Supporting testing, pre-commissioning and handover activities
• Working closely with construction, QA/QC and commissioning teams
• Maintaining technical quality, safety and delivery alignment across the work scope

Candidate profile / Qualifications

• Degree-qualified or technically qualified in Electrical, Instrumentation or related discipline
• Strong experience within oil & gas, offshore, fabrication yard or major construction project environments
• Background in electrical and instrumentation installation and supervision
• Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary site teams
• Exposure to testing, pre-commissioning and handover activities is desirable
• Fluent written and spoken English

The role is based in Ravenna / Offshore and offers the opportunity to join a major long-term offshore energy development.
