Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, BI engineering, or equivalent project‑driven environments.
• Strong SQL skills across cloud platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Foundational ETL/ELT understanding and experience with dbt and Airflow.
• Proficiency in Python and Git‑based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Engineer robust cloud data pipelines powering analytics, data science, and product teams.
• Build, deploy, and maintain data ingestion and transformation jobs with Airflow and Cloud Composer.
• Write data tests (row counts, null checks, reference validations) to ensure data quality.
• Investigate alerts and optimize system performance; escalate architectural needs as required.
• Maintain lakehouse schemas and naming conventions across Snowflake/BigQuery/Databricks.
• Create clear pipeline documentation for the engineering team.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Data Science to deliver optimized data structures.
