Moneyfarm is seeking a freelance Mid-Senior Data Engineer to support the AI Operational Efficiency stream. You will design and optimize scalable data pipelines, bridging a Modern Data Stack with GenAI applications and automated data solutions.

You will collaborate with the AI team to deploy smart, efficient pipelines and maintain high data quality across systems. A Builder mentality and fast adaptation are valued in this fast-paced fintech environment.

Competenze

• Strong Python coding and data engineering experience.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex and RAG patterns for LLM workflows.
• Hands-on with DBT for data transformation and modeling.
• Experience with modern data warehouses such as Redshift/Snowflake/BigQuery.

We are looking for a talented Freelance Mid-Senior Data Engineer to support our AI Operational Efficiency stream.

In this role, you won't just maintain pipelines; you will be a true "builder" with a smart, proactive attitude, capable of bridging the gap between a Modern Data Stack and cutting-edge GenAI applications. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency through data and AI-driven automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines to power our AI operational initiatives


• Implement and manage data flows tailored for agentic workflows and LLM interactions


• Maintain and evolve our data infrastructure, ensuring high data quality and availability


• Partner with the AI team to deploy smart, efficient, and automated solutions

Requirements

Technical Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and scripting


• Solid experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling


• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools, specifically Airflow


• Deep knowledge of Amazon Redshift or equivalent Modern Data Stack technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)


• Familiarity with agentic workflows and building architectures that interact with LLMs (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG patterns)
