EPAM Systems in Milan, Italy is seeking a Data & AI Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end data, analytics and AI programs in a hybrid setup. You will coordinate hybrid teams of data engineers, ML specialists and AI agents to deliver scalable platforms aligned with client strategy, timelines and budgets.

Competenze

• 5+ years delivering data and analytics projects
• Strong data platform architectures
• Hands-on with cloud-native platforms (GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka)
• Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning
• Ability to lead hybrid teams and manage multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of data security, governance and responsible AI
• Excellent written and oral communication, able to distill complex ideas

We're looking for a Data & AI Delivery Manager to join our team in Milan, Italy in a hybrid working mode. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of data, analytics and AI programs across our global clients. The role involves orchestrating hybrid teams of human experts and AI agents to deliver scalable, high-quality data platforms, ensuring solutions align with client strategy, timelines and budgets.

You will work closely with engineering, architecture and business stakeholders to drive modern data capabilities - from ingestion and processing to advanced analytics, machine learning and agentic automation. Your leadership will shape long-term client partnerships and accelerate digital transformation in industries undergoing rapid change.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data and analytics solutions
• Govern delivery processes, quality and risk across hybrid human-AI workstreams
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for delivery performance, escalations and scope management
• Provide technical oversight to ensure scalable, secure and future-proof data architectures
• Build strong client relationships and support pre-sales, proposals and solution design
• Integrate AI agents into delivery workflows to improve speed, quality and operational efficiency
• Guide teams in modern data engineering practices including batch, streaming, ingestion, storage, processing and consumption

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering data and analytics projects in complex operational industries
• Strong understanding of data engineering challenges and modern data platform architectures
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud-native platforms such as GCP, Databricks, Snowflake and Kafka
• Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning and agentic automation
• Ability to lead hybrid teams and manage multi-disciplinary stakeholders
• Solid understanding of data security, governance and responsible AI principles
• 5+ years translating business requirements into analytical platforms and actionable insights
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, able to distil complex technical and business ideas into understandable terms for all stakeholders and teams
• Ability to forecast and create roadmaps, adjusting with new information and changing business priorities, to achieve programme goals
