Job summary

Moneyfarm is seeking a Freelance Mid-Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize scalable data pipelines powering AI operational initiatives. You will implement data flows for agentic workflows and LLMS, maintain data infrastructure, and collaborate with the AI team to deploy automated solutions.

This 12-month contract role requires strong Python, DBT, Airflow, and modern data stack experience across Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery, with familiarity in LangChain and RAG patterns.

Qualifications

We are looking for a talented Freelance Mid-Senior Data Engineer to support our AI Operational Efficiency stream. In this role, you won't just maintain pipelines; you will be a true "builder" with a smart, proactive attitude, capable of bridging the gap between a Modern Data Stack and cutting-edge GenAI applications. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency through data and AI-driven automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines to power our AI operational initiatives.

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and scripting.
• Solid experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools, specifically Airflow.
• Deep knowledge of Amazon Redshift or equivalent Modern Data Stack technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).
• Familiarity with agentic workflows and building architectures that interact with LLMs (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG patterns).
