LJB & Co, based in Europe, is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor for an on-site role in Milan, Italy. The candidate will lead MEP cost planning and cost control for data centre projects, aligning budgets with design and scope.

The role requires 5+ years in similar construction settings, relevant degree-level qualifications, and strong communication skills. On-site position with permanent employment and international travel considerations.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background.

Mansioni

• Own MEP cost planning and estimates across mechanical, electrical and plumbing scopes.
• Drive MEP tendering and supplier selection to ensure cost effectiveness and quality.
• Control MEP variations and changes; update financials to maintain cost integrity.
• Report and forecast MEP costs with regular analyses for project decisions.
• Collaborate with MEP teams to resolve issues while safeguarding budgets.
