LJB & Co is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a major data centre project in Milan, Italy. You will support LV/MV electrical systems installation, testing, and commissioning while coordinating with CSA and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to programme and safety standards.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of relevant experience on large-scale construction projects, preferably data centres, and strong technical drawing interpretation skills.

Competenze

• Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of LV and MV systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and testing & commissioning processes.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience delivering electrical works on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, or other mission-critical projects is highly desirable.

Mansioni

• Support the installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of LV and MV electrical systems.
• Review and coordinate electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Work closely with CSA and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Monitor site progress and track works against programme milestones.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring productivity and quality targets are achieved.
• Assist with procurement activities, including technical evaluations and material approvals.
• Participate in inspections, walk-downs, snagging, and system handovers.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, Italian regulations, and relevant industry standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation including test records, commissioning reports, and as-built information.
• Promote and enforce Health & Safety best practice across all electrical works on site.
