LEWA GmbH in Correggio is seeking a Data Architect to define and drive our enterprise data landscape. You will establish scalable governance, design target models, and collaborate with IT and business teams to enable secure data integration across ERP/CRM/PLM and other systems.

You will ensure data protection compliance, drive data quality, and foster data-driven decision-making with a trusted data foundation across the organization.

Competenze

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Management, MDM, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data protection principles.

Mansioni

• Define, develop, and evolve the data architecture and data strategy across the company.
• Establish and govern an MDM framework across end-to-end processes and applications.
• Design scalable data architecture standards, models, and target architectures with Enterprise Architecture.
• Lead development of a modern data platform enabling secure data integration across ERP/CRM/PLM and other systems.
• Enforce data governance policies including ownership, stewardship, quality and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into practical architecture solutions.

Your role

As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in shaping our enterprise-wide data landscape. You will define and drive our data architecture strategy, establish scalable governance frameworks, and ensure that data becomes a trusted and strategic asset across the organization. As Data Architect you report to the Head of Digitalization in Industrial Flow Division.

You will be responsible to

• Define, develop, and continuously evolve the company-wide data architecture and data strategy in alignment with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
• Establish and govern a Master Data Management (MDM) framework across end-to-end business processes and multiple enterprise applications.
• Design and implement scalable data architecture principles, standards, and target models together with the Enterprise Architecture team.
• Drive the development of a modern data platform enabling seamless, secure, and efficient data integration across ERP, CRM, PLM, customer portals, and other business systems.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, including data ownership, stewardship, quality management, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and IT teams to identify data requirements and translate them into sustainable architecture solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high data quality standards.
• Support data-driven decision-making by establishing a consistent and trusted enterprise data foundation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices in Data Management, Data Governance, and Analytics.

Qualifications & Skills

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Management, Master Data Management, or Enterprise Architecture.

• Data Integration and API-based architectures
• Enterprise Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, and Cloud Technologies
• Experience working in complex system landscapes involving ERP, CRM, PLM, and other enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of data protection regulations and information security principles.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and IT functions.
• Self-driven, structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style.
• Fluent in English; German is considered an advantage.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at LEWA GmbH in Correggio, Germany (DE)

Alternatively, this role can be based at CRI-MAN in Correggio, Italy with a full-time presence.

Local Plus conditions will be offered for this position if the successful applicant is not based in Germany or Italy.
