TNP is looking for a Data Analyst / Data Scientist with 2–3 years of experience to join our consulting team in Milan.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Consulting & Data Analytics

You will work alongside experienced consultants on client projects, contributing to analytical activities and data-driven solutions.

• Collect, clean, structure, and validate datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop Python scripts and SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Build and apply analytical models, including descriptive, diagnostic, and basic predictive models.
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Translate analytical results into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Support the preparation of client presentations, project deliverables, and steering committee materials.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for a curious, analytical, and proactive professional who enjoys working with data and translating technical findings into business value.

Your background and skills

• Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, consulting, or similar roles.
• Experience with data visualization and BI tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, or cloud-based data platforms.
• Good knowledge of Python, particularly libraries such as pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and scikit-learn is a plus!
• Good knowledge of SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation is a plus!
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively while progressively developing autonomy.
• Interest in consulting, business transformation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Annual gross salary (RAL): €30,000–€45,000, depending on experience and skills.
