Overview

D365 Business Central Developer – Remote (Contract)

Duration: 12 month + extension

Location: Remote - occasional travel to Milan

Language Requirements: Italian (native / fluent) & English (professional proficiency)

Role Overview :

We’re looking for a motivated D365 Business Central Developer to support ongoing implementations, customisations, and technical enhancements. This is a remote-first opportunity ideal for someone looking to deepen their expertise in AL development while contributing to real-world ERP projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and customisation of D365 Business Central solutions using AL language
• Support integrations with third-party systems (e.g., APIs, web services)
• Participate in technical design sessions and contribute to solution architecture
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and documentation of developed features
• Maintain and enhance existing BC / NAV solutions across client environments
• Provide technical support during go-live and post-implementation phases

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in D365 Business Central or NAV development
• Solid understanding of AL language and Visual Studio Code environment
• Familiarity with extensions, events, and upgrade-safe development practices
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server and data structures
• Exposure to REST APIs and integration frameworks is a plus
• Strong communication skills in Italian and English
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with cross functional teams
