Job summary

MSC Cruises in Napoli, Italy seeks a Cyber Security Architect Lead to design and maintain security architectures across cloud and on‑prem environments, partnering with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams.

You will provide technical leadership, review solutions, and drive security‑by‑design within SDLC, IAM, and risk management. The role offers a permanent contract with hybrid work and a gross annual salary of €50,000–€57,000, plus meal vouchers and welfare benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cyber security architecture roles (infrastructure, cloud, apps).
• Degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM in multiple IdP environments, Zero Trust, modern cloud security architectures.
• Understanding of networking principles and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, OWASP).
• Experience in risk management and security governance.
• Certifications like CISSP/CCSP are advantageous.
• Experience with cloud development and automation (IaC, CI/CD, microservices, containers).
• Fluency in Italian and English; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain security architecture frameworks and practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security teams.
• Review solution architectures for cyber security alignment.
• Design and implement security solutions for cloud and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security into SDLC.
• Review IAM implementations and perform security assessments.
• Support vendor selection aligned with cyber security roadmap.
