Job summary

Google LLC in multiple locations seeks a Customer Engineer, Migrations Specialist to help enterprises migrate and modernize to Google Cloud. You will articulate technical solutions, design architectures, and demonstrate proof-of-concepts for customers and partners.

Leverage deep experience in cloud compute and enterprise workloads to guide customers through assessments and roadmaps, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams globally.

Qualifications

• Experience prospecting, and building and maintaining customer relationships from scratch, with excitement for building Greenfield territories in Enterprise accounts.

As a Specialist Customer Engineer, you will seek to accelerate Google Cloud customer success by providing domain-specific technical expertise.

You will partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective and existing customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, engage in proofs of concepts, and troubleshoot any technical questions and roadblocks. As a Senior Specialist with deep experience in cloud compute technology (e.g., Google Compute Engine) and enterprise platforms and workloads (SQL Server), with the ability to design and propose technical architectures considering Google Cloud'S unique differentiators. You will use your expertise and presentation skills to engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and persuasively present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

• Germany: €150000 - €153000 (EUR) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
• Italy: €124000 - €127000 (EUR) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
• Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
• Share in-depth enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
• Work directly with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
• Guide customers through assessments of existing legacy application environments and provide recommendations on a prioritization roadmap for infrastructure and application modernization.
• Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
