ABB ricerca una figura di leadership nel reparto Smart Power all'interno della Divisione Electrification per supportare lo sviluppo e la validazione di soluzioni innovative per edifici commerciali e industriali, con un forte accento sui data center.

Il ruolo prevede collaborazione con ingegneri, product manager e team di vendita, lavoro in laboratorio e ufficio in un contesto ibrido. È richiesto una laurea in Ingegneria Elettrica o campo equivalente e dimestichezza con la lingua inglese.

Competenze

• Hai recentemente completato, o sei vicino alla laurea, in Ingegneria Elettrica o in campo correlato.
• Hai dimestichezza con lavori pratici su apparecchiature elettriche in laboratorio e con procedure di sicurezza.
• Hai passione per l'apprendimento, problem solving e collaborazione con team diversi.

Mansioni

• Supportare lo sviluppo e la validazione di applicazioni e soluzioni per edifici commerciali/industriali, infrastrutture e data center, con focus sui data center.
• Lavorare a stretto contatto con esperti tecnici in ambienti d'ufficio e di laboratorio, contribuendo a test, documentazione e condivisione di conoscenze.
• Allestire configurazioni di laboratorio, eseguire test funzionali e di prestazioni su switchgear, protezione e distribuzione di energia, documentando i risultati.
• Tradurre le applicazioni validate in documentazione tecnica, contenuti formativi e proposte di valore rivolte al cliente.
• Condividere insight e lezioni apprese dai test di laboratorio e dai feedback di campo con gli stakeholder chiave.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to support the development, testing and validation of applications and solutions for commercial and industrial buildings, infrastructure and critical power, with a particular focus on data centers.

Each day, you will work closely with technical experts in both office and laboratory environments, helping to develop and verify electrical applications and solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by contributing to application testing, documentation development and knowledge sharing across the organization.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Smart Power Division within the Electrification Business Area in Europe. Main stakeholders are application engineers, product managers, sales teams, training teams and other technical specialists across the organization.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Support the development and validation of applications for commercial and industrial buildings, infrastructure and critical power solutions, with a focus on data centers.
• Prepare laboratory test setups, perform functional and performance testing on switchgear, protection and power distribution equipment, and document findings.
• Translate validated applications into technical documentation, training content and customer-facing value propositions.
• Share technical insights and lessons learned from laboratory activities and field feedback with key internal stakeholders.

Qualifications For The Role

• You enjoy working with electrical systems, testing methodologies and power distribution applications within the electrification industry.
• You have recently completed, or is close to completing, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• You are comfortable working hands-on with electrical equipment in a laboratory environment and following testing and safety procedures.
• You are passionate about learning, problem-solving and collaborating with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• You are at ease communicating in English, both written and spoken.

Compensation Package

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico

Minimum annual salary: € 48.000

Variable Pay: AIP target 10% + Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
