Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center - CT is seeking a full-time CT Technologist to perform CT imaging as part of the radiology team. You will verify orders with a Radiologist, prepare patients, obtain histories, and ensure high-quality images while following safety protocols.

The role requires ARRT CT certification within one year of hire and BLS. Work schedule includes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7p-7a with a 36-hour work week and potential weekend coverage.

Competenze

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT CT certification within one year of hire; BLS required.

Mansioni

• Examine requests and verify orders with Radiologist before performing exams.
• Identify patients and prepare them for CT procedures with explanations.
• Obtain complete medical histories and review EMRs to inform imaging.
• Perform CT scanning under Radiologist supervision and ensure image quality.
• Maintain radiation safety and document contrast administration as required.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends.
