Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a Part-time CT Technologist to perform CT scanning and contribute to high-quality diagnostic imaging. This 12-hour-per-week PRN position supports the radiology team with patient preparation, safety, and accurate image capture.

The successful candidate will verify orders, prepare patients, administer IV contrast as directed, maintain documentation, and collaborate with Radiologists to ensure optimal exam quality while following radiation safety

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified in Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine.
• Advanced ARRT CT registry required within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and consult Radiologist on discrepancies.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and prepare explanations of procedures.
• Review EMR for medical history and document requisitions.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment malfunctions.
