Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist for the Oncology: Radiation department to deliver and document treatments under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. This full-time, 40-hour/week role requires collaboration with the medical team and accurate entry into electronic medical records.

Preferred candidates have advanced training in Radiation Therapy; no prior experience is required.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced training beyond High School in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• No experience required.
• Knowledge of treatment planning and techniques.

Aufgaben

• Delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the Radiation Oncologist.
• Reviews images and port films for patient setups and device selection.
• Performs daily QA on equipment and reports irregularities.
• Enters patient treatment parameters in electronic medical records.
• Maintains appointment schedules and ensures proper charge capture.
• Performs CT simulation and prepares blocks and immobilization; MU calculations when needed.
• Assists with patient positioning and transport as required.
