Job summary

S&P Global Ratings in Italy offers a 10-week summer intern program starting June 2027. You’ll work with analytical teams, learn credit analysis fundamentals, and present findings to senior leaders. The program includes a group project, peer collaboration, and a potential offer for the 2028 graduate program.

Applicants should be penultimate-year undergraduates or postgraduates, reside in Italy, and be eligible to work locally. English fluency is required; two office days per week are expected.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate & Undergraduate students in their penultimate year of study; diverse academic backgrounds welcome.

Responsibilities

• Team Contribution & Capability Building: Support the team in deal execution and various analytical projects, contributing ideas in collaborative discussions.
• Core Analytical & Delivery: Build capability in credit rating methodologies; provide timely and accurate quarterly financial statistics and data analysis; support high-quality research and modelling; explore AI tools to derive insights.
• Stakeholder & Market Engagement: Assist with preparing rating committees and issuer management meetings; maintain a customer-oriented, solutions mindset.
• Risk Management and Operating: Maintain confidentiality, governance, and (where applicable) guardrails in pilot/testing.
