Cumming Group in Milan, Italy seeks a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our team delivering commercial and cost management services across data centre projects in Italy and Europe.

You will support procurement strategies, cost planning, benchmarking, budgeting and contract administration, working with NEC/JCT forms and senior stakeholders to drive value and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Competenze

• 3-5+ years of experience in cost consultancy, commercial management, or quantity surveying on large-scale construction projects.
• MRICS, AssocRICS, or working towards chartered status preferred.
• Experience supporting complex commercial programmes and multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Good understanding of NEC, JCT and other standard forms of construction contract.

The Role:

Cumming Group are looking to recruit a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor (or experienced Computista / Preventivista) to join our team in the Milan office. You will support the commercial delivery of complex, high-value data centre projects throughout Italy and Europe. You will contribute to the commercial performance of major mission-critical developments from feasibility and procurement through construction, commissioning and close-out.

Working closely with clients, project teams and senior stakeholders, you will play an important role in driving cost certainty, mitigating risk, and ensuring successful project outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing sectors in construction while contributing to the commercial delivery of some of Europe\'s most significant digital infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Qualifications:
• Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in cost consultancy, commercial management, or quantity surveying, with exposure to large-scale construction projects.
• Professional Accreditation: MRICS, AssocRICS, or working towards chartered status preferred.
• Experience supporting complex commercial programmes and multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Good understanding of NEC, JCT and other standard forms of construction contract.
• Experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure or similarly complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial risk management, procurement strategies and construction project delivery.
• Experience managing multiple projects and client stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide advice and support to clients and project teams.
