Alfamation is seeking a Cost Controller for its Lissone headquarters. The role centers on monitoring and analyzing manufacturing costs within a complex BOM environment to support management decisions with accurate reporting and variance analysis.

You will work with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in cost/control roles in manufacturing, strong Excel skills, ERP experience (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics), and knowledge of SOX/US GAAP.

2–5 years of experience in management control/cost control in a manufacturing environment.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for production costs, materials, labor and overhead.
Calculate and update standard product costs (standard costing).
Prepare periodic reports on manufacturing KPIs (efficiency, yield, scrap, fixed cost absorption).
Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics, and quality to collect data and validate cost information.
Support monthly/quarterly closings with related economic analyses.
Identify inefficiencies and propose corrective actions to contain costs.
Contribute to business cases and profitability analyses for investments or new orders.
Maintain and improve costing models and data flows in the ERP system.
Oversee inventory management and valuation processes to ensure accurate cost reporting and financial controls.
Perform project cost accounting to track profitability, cost performance, and margin drivers by project or order.
Support the implementation and use of work orders for manufacturing to improve cost traceability, production reporting, and operational control.
