Currie & Brown is seeking a cost consultant to manage budgets, cost plans and BOQs for hospitality, data center, logistics and residential projects. You will leverage MEP pricing expertise to support clients with precise cost advice, manage tenders and contract payments, and report costs to stakeholders.

The role requires pre- and post-contract experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. Based in Treviso with opportunities to collaborate across teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience as economist/QS/cost consultant with MEP pricing.
• Experience in pricing for electro-mechanical works, data center or similar high-tech sectors.
• Pre- and post-contract experience.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, cost databases and specialist QS software.
• Knowledge of building methods, legal issues and H&S standards.
• Good client-facing, organized, proactive and commercially astute.
• Team player.

In this role you will manage all costs for hospitality, data center, logistics and residential projects from planning through completion. You’ll prepare budgets, cost plans and BOQs, evaluate tenders, and monitor contractor payments to keep projects within budget. You will apply your experience in electro-mechanical (MEP) pricing for high-tech builds and support clients with accurate cost advice. You’ll work within a global consultancy focused on asset management and delivering value to clients. This is a full-time position based in Treviso, Italy, with opportunities to collaborate across teams.

• Market analysis on inflation, risks and related factors
• Budget preparation and capex review during feasibility
• Prepare bills of quantities for tendering
• Negotiate and manage client-contractor contracts
• Advise on procurement strategy and tax depreciation / lifecycle costing
• Lead tender process, analysis and contractor selection
• Monitor costs during construction to ensure budget adherence
• Approve contractor payment applications
• Provide accurate cost reporting and maintain client communications
• Liaise with project leaders and other managers for financial control
• Support project leads and senior cost managers
• Represent the company professionally with clients and stakeholders
