Unknown is seeking a Contract Proponent representative to develop and administer contracts within the assigned organization. The role involves guiding contract services from inception through execution, and coordinating complex analyses of risk and bidders’ qualifications.

You will participate in bid reviews, help shape company positions on terms, and negotiate with bidders for large-scale projects. Strong English proficiency and extensive contracting experience are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 10-15 years experience in oil & gas with project contracting on large to mega projects.
• Excellent knowledge of English, both written and verbal.

Located approximately 20 km to the east of the Gulf line and approximately 12 km southwest of the existing Safaniyah GOSP-1 facility, the objective of this Budget Item is to provide water supply from three sources: the existing Safaniyah GOSP-1, the new Zuluf AH Central Processing Facility (CPF), and Jaladi aquifer water for the purpose of treatment and injection. The facility will process 1,400 MBCD of water for injection to cover the production forecast up to 2035; to ultimately maintain the existing Safaniyah Field's Maximum Sustainable Capability (MSC). In addition, the scope will expand water facilities in Safaniyah GOSP-1 to accommodate the surplus produced water that exceeds the overall existing formation water system capacity up to year 2035.

Job Purpose

To serve as the Contract Proponent representative in the development and administration of contracts in the assigned organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide complex technical advice and support to contract proponents from the conception of contract service requirements through the execution of a contract to the termination of the contract or service requirements.
• Direct and participate in the development of engineering and financial studies that establish feasibilities for contract services and evaluation for alternatives that may be technical, financial and/or procedural/administrative.
• Coordinate and/or participate in the development of a professional level of analysis of: Company risk, exposure, technical qualification of bidders, scopes of work for various contract services.
• Participate as the contract proponent representative or delegate participation on the Bid Review Team charged with development of a realistic Company position on contract terms and the negotiation of these terms.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

Requirements

• Educational & Technical Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent. MBA is desirable.
• 10-15 years experience in the oil & gas industry and has project contracting experience on large to mega projects.
• Excellent knowledge of English, both written and verbal.
