Job summary

Leonardo, a global leader in Aerospace, Defence and Security, is seeking a Continued Airworthiness specialist in Italy (Varese/Cascina Costa) for a permanent, hybrid role. You will apply fault tree and hazard analyses, assess risk using FHA/SSA approaches, and ensure compliance with EASA Part 21 requirements.

Collaboration with multiple technical teams and authorities is essential. You hold a Master’s in Aeronautical Engineering and English at B2 level or higher, with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering is required.
• Proficient understanding of risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong ability to communicate technical results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform hazard analyses using FHA/SSA/FTA methodologies.
• Calculate Compliance Time for containment actions per EASA guidelines.
• Support discussions with Aviation Authorities on Occurrence Report classification.
• Prepare documentation for Continued Airworthiness governance and KPI reporting.
