Job summary

Leonardo S.p.A. in Italy is seeking an Airworthiness Governance Specialist to support continued airworthiness activities within the Helicopters division.

You will analyze safety risks, develop governance processes, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and aviation authorities to ensure compliance with Part 21 requirements. Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent Aerospace Engineering discipline).
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk analyses using qualitative and quantitative safety methodologies to evaluate the probability of risk in in-service events and verify compliance with certification objectives.
• Develop and validate methods and tools supporting risk assessment activities with internal stakeholders.
• Develop, harmonize, and continuously improve Continued Airworthiness guidelines and procedures with internal stakeholders.
• Perform hazard analyses (FHA, SSA, FTA) and assess risk for in-service events.
• Part Detachment Evaluation and compliance time calculations per EASA AMC & GM to Part 21 requirements.
• Support discussions with Aviation Authorities regarding Occurrence Report classification and Compliance Time.
• Support the Continued Airworthiness Governance Manager in Safety Information Bulletins (SIB) and CARI items.
• Prepare documentation supporting processes and tools aligned with Continued Airworthiness.
