Job summary

Leonardo in Italy is seeking an Airworthiness Governance Specialist for its Helicopters Division. The role focuses on risk analyses, continued airworthiness governance, and regulatory compliance across in-service events.

You will develop and harmonize guidelines, perform hazard analyses, and support authorities and internal stakeholders in safety and compliance documentation. Hybrid work and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Continued Airworthiness principles and aviation regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk analyses using qualitative and quantitative safety methodologies for in-service events.
• Develop and validate methods and tools supporting risk assessment in Continued Airworthiness.
• Develop, harmonize, and improve Continued Airworthiness guidelines with internal stakeholders.
• Perform hazard analyses (FHA, SSA, FTA) and related evaluations.
• Calculate Compliance Time for containment actions per EASA AMC & GM to Part 21.
• Support discussions with Aviation Authorities on Occurrence Reports and classifications.
• Support the Continued Airworthiness Governance Manager with SIBs and CARI activities.
• Prepare documentation for processes and tools aligned with regulatory framework.
