UNIT/DIVISION: CONTRIBUTION ACCOUNTING AND DONOR FINANCIAL REPORTING (CFORC)
DUTY STATION (City, Country): Rome
DURATION: 11 months
The Contribution Accounting and Donor Financial Reporting (CFORC) Branch of the WFP Corporate Finance Division contribute to the organizations’ accountability to donors on the utilization of contributions through support to financial management on accounting for contributions, provision of guidance and preparation and certification of donor financial reports. The objectives of the Unit are to
(i) Ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors,
(ii) Improve financial management in accounting for contributions, income and expenditures and
(iii) support Country Offices on contribution financial management under Country Portfolio Budget.
The Unit requires support in the form of a consultant to augment its current capacity in integrating automation and digitalization in different processes.
Under the direct supervision of the Finance Business and Data Specialist (P3), the Consultant will have the following responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy and timely delivery in all tasks performed; produced organized, accurate and well‑documented records conforming to required format with well‑analyzed data.
Education: University degree in accounting and/or business-related area
Experience:
Knowledge & Skills: Ability to review a variety of data, identify data discrepancies; scrutiny the preparation of reports; have good Excel and data processing skills; accounting and/or finance-related working experience. Advance knowledge of excel and systems is an advantage
Languages: English
