Ramboll is seeking an EHS Consultant to advance sustainability projects in Italy. The role emphasizes Health & Safety compliance, due diligence, and ESG assessments within a diverse, international team.

Location flexible between Rome and Milan with a hybrid work pattern. Requires 2–3 years in Compliance, Transaction and Corporate Services and strong communication skills in Italian and English.

Competenze

• Master level degree required in Occupational Health and Safety/Environmental/Chemical engineering, Environmental Science or similar.
• Fluent in Italian and English; third language a plus.

Your new role

As our new EHS Consultant you must have 2-3 years’ experience in Compliance, Transaction and Corporate Services as a broad area, with specific focus on Health & Safety compliance and due diligence work in the M&A sector with emphasis on EHS assessment, planning and strategy.

Candidates can work in fully hybrid working pattern from our Rome or Milan office in line with our flexible working policy.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Execution of Environmental and/or Health and Safety Due Diligence
• Execution of EHS compliance audits
• Execution of H&S Risk Assessments and review of H&S Plan
• Execution of ESG review
• Taking direct part in the assignments, with direct interaction with Clients and third parties (e.g. lawyers, advisors, vendor/buyer, regulators) and implies strong soft skills (e.g. negotiation, communication, strategic vision) and capabilities in problem-solving and teamwork
• Proposal and reporting in Italian or English language

You will be part of part of our successful team composed by engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc. working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability. These include:

• A Master level university degree in Occupational Health and Safety/Environmental/Chemical engineering, Environmental Science or similar.
• Knowledge and familiarity with D. Lgs. 81/2008 and D. Lgs 152/2006, ASTM standards
• Fluent in Italian & English both spoken and written, a third language (e.g. German, Spanish, French) is a plus.
• Knowledge of the decommissioning, REACH and CLP regulation is a plus
