Bureau Technical Services is seeking experienced Construction Site Accountants for long-term freelance assignments across Italy. The roles require hands-on site accounting on infrastructure projects, with a focus on road and motorway construction. Locations include Cassino, Bologna or Campi Bisenzio near Florence.

Freelance contract initially 12 months, site-based, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. Start date as soon as possible, subject to interview process.

Competenze

5–7 years of experience in construction site accounting or a similar role.
Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Experience on road/motorway construction, bridges or viaducts is advantageous.
Experience preparing SAL reports and subcontractor accounting.
Strong understanding of construction costs, invoices, budgets.

Mansioni

Monitor and record daily construction site costs (labour, materials, equipment, fuel, subcontractors).
Maintain up-to-date site accounting records.
Prepare and manage SAL statements.
Reconcile actual site expenditure against budgets and report discrepancies.
Verify supplier invoices against POs, delivery notes and agreed prices.
Monitor subcontractor costs, invoices and payment schedules.
Manage supplier documentation and compliance records.
Support weekly and monthly cost reporting and project documentation.
