RINA is seeking a Construction Safety Engineer to join the Civil Engineering Division in Italy (Rozzano, Genoa, or Rome). The role focuses on ensuring safe construction operations, coordinating with Senior/Principal Engineers, and delivering safety plans and reports.

Key duties include risk assessment, site inspections, development of safety plans, and incident investigations. Fluency in Italian is required, with +3 years of relevant experience and a Civil Engineering or Environment degree.

Competenze

• +3 years of experience in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction and Environment is required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards pertaining to construction projects.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate safety construction risks to ensure compliance.
• Fluent in Italian language.

Mansioni

• Assist in identifying, assessing and mitigating safety construction risks.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and conditions.
• Assist in developing project-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Review construction plans to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in organizing and conducting safety training sessions for construction site personnel.
• Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans for construction sites.
• Assist in performing and verification of risk assessments for various construction activities and propose control measures.
• Participate in incident investigations to determine the root cause of accidents and near misses.
• Provide recommendations for corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Provide direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements.
• Be able to team-work and assist engineers or engineering teams on construction sites.
• Develop project schedules and deliverable timelines under supervision of more experienced engineers.
• Prepare the technical deliverables (technical reports, Health Safety Plan, Safety and Coordination Plan, project performance documentations and engineering drawings).
• Prepare progress technical reports.
• Be aware and understand the Quality Policy and ensuring that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS.
