Job summary

Hitachi cerca un responsabile per attività di service e commissioning all’interno dell’unità Grid Automation a Roma. L’incarico prevede troubleshoot, rispetto dei tempi di commissioning e accettazione del cliente per soluzioni HV e SCADA/RTU.

Il candidato deve avere esperienza in messa in servizio P&C di sottostazioni, conoscenza di strumenti di prova e capacità di gestione di progetti con viaggi frequenti. Ottima conoscenza di italiano e inglese.

Qualifications

• Esperienza in messa in servizio P&C di sottostazioni.
• Conoscenza di strumenti di prova (Omicron, ISA).
• Conoscenza di Hitachi Microscada e RTU560.
• Conoscenza della automazione PLC in commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Esegue attività di servizio e commissioning su sistemi HV e SCADA/RTU presso i clienti.
• Rispetta i tempi di commissioning e verifica la handover con firma del cliente.
• Risolva problemi sul posto e proponga azioni correttive.
• Implementa modifiche al design e produce mark-up as-built.
• Coordina con il responsabile di sito e fornitori terzi su progetti specifici.
• Produce report di avanzamento e ottiene l’approvazione del cliente.
• Conduci Safety Observation Tours e mitigare i rischi.
• Gestisce snags e risolve le non conformità.
• Partecipa a discussioni tecniche con i clienti durante commissioning.
• Partecipa a FAT e SAT secondo necessità.

Job description

Overview

In this role you will lead service and commissioning activities within the Grid Automation unit in Rome. You will work with the Service & Commissioning team to troubleshoot, ensure on-time completion, and secure customer acceptance. You will implement design changes, prepare as-built documents, and coordinate with site managers and third parties. You’ll report progress, support safety processes, and engage with customers during commissioning, FAT, and SAT to deliver reliable HV protection and SCADA/RTU solutions.

Responsabilità

• Perform service and commissioning activities for HV protection and SCADA/RTU systems at client sites
• Adhere to commissioning schedule and ensure handover with client sign-off
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide feedback for lessons learned
• Implement design changes and produce as-built mark-ups
• Coordinate with site manager and third-party providers on specific projects
• Produce progress reports and obtain client approval
• Conduct Safety Observation Tours and mitigate Hazards
• Handle snag lists independently and resolve issues
• Engage in technical discussions with customers during commissioning
• Attend FAT and SAT as required

Requisiti fondamentali

• Experience in P&C site commissioning of substations
• Experience with test devices (Omicron, Isa)
• Proven experience on Hitachi Microscada and RTU560
• Knowledge of PLC automation commissioning
• Knowledge of IEC104/101 and 61850 protocols
• Knowledge of Networking and network devices
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Willingness to travel ~80% to client sites
• Fluency in Italian and English
