Eligo Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to work on Europe’s leading Data Centre projects in the Milan region. You will lead safe testing, commissioning and energisation of critical electrical infrastructure, ensuring systems perform reliably before handover.

Based across Milan-area developments, the role offers a secure project pipeline for 5+ years, exposure to LV/HV systems, UPS, generators and switchgear, and a strong focus on technical excellence and collaboration

Competenze

• Experience in Data Centre commissioning and testing of LV/HV electrical systems.
• Proficient in commissioning UPS systems, generators, switchgear and transformers.
• Experience developing commissioning plans, procedures and test scripts.
• Familiarity with FAT, SAT, IST testing and reporting.

• Commission LV and HV electrical systems across Data Centre projects.
• Testing UPS systems, generators, transformers, switchgear and power distribution equipment.
• Developing and executing commissioning plans, procedures and test scripts.

Location

You’ll be based across major Data Centre developments throughout the Milan area, working on large-scale mission critical facilities for global clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in delivering the safe testing, commissioning and energisation of critical electrical infrastructure, ensuring every system performs reliably before handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Commissioning LV and HV electrical systems across complex Data Centre projects
• Testing UPS systems, generators, transformers, switchgear and power distribution equipment
• Developing and executing commissioning plans, procedures and test scripts
• Carrying out functional testing, load bank testing and system validation
• Supporting energisation activities and critical system start-up
• Coordinating commissioning programmes with project managers, design teams and specialist contractors
• Investigating faults and resolving technical commissioning issues
• Producing commissioning documentation, reports and project handover packs
• Ensuring all activities comply with industry standards and client specifications
• Supporting FAT, SAT, IST and integrated systems testing where required
• Mentoring junior commissioning engineers and contributing to best practice across projects
