Job summary

Hitachi cerca un responsabile service e commissioning per guidare le attività di verifica e messa in servizio di sistemi HV protection e SCADA/RTU presso siti clienti in Italia, con focus su sicurezza e qualità.

La posizione prevede frequente viaggio (circa 80%) e coinvolgimento in FAT/SAT, integrazione con il team Grid Automation di Roma, definizione delle non conformità e consegna documentale As-Built.

Qualifications

• Esperienza di commissioning in siti P&C di sottostazioni.
• Conoscenza di dispositivi di prova (Omicron, Isa).
• Esperienza su Hitachi Microscada e RTU560.
• Conoscenza di automazione PLC e protocolli IEC104/101 e 61850.
• Conoscenza di networking e dispositivi di rete.
• Ottime capacità comunicative e problem solving.
• Disponibilità a viaggiare circa l'80% presso siti clienti.
• Fluenza in italiano e inglese.

Responsibilities

• Eseguire attività di servizio e commissioning per sistemi HV protection e SCADA/RTU sui siti clienti.
• Rispettare piani di commissioning e consegnare l'handover al cliente.
• Diagnosticare problemi on-site e fornire feedback per le lezioni apprese.
• Implementare modifiche di design e produrre markup as-built.
• Coordinarsi con il site manager e fornitori terzi sui progetti.
• Produrre report di avanzamento e ottenere l'approvazione del cliente.
• Condurre Safety Observation Tours e mitigare i rischi.
• Gestire snags in autonomia e risolvere problemi.
• Partecipare a discussioni tecniche con i clienti durante commissioning.
• Partecipare a FAT e SAT secondo necessità.

Job description

Overview

In this role you will lead service and commissioning activities within the Grid Automation unit in Rome. You will work with the Service & Commissioning team to troubleshoot, ensure on-time completion, and secure customer acceptance. You will implement design changes, prepare as-built documents, and coordinate with site managers and third parties. You’ll report progress, support safety processes, and engage with customers during commissioning, FAT, and SAT to deliver reliable HV protection and SCADA/RTU solutions.

Responsabilità

• Perform service and commissioning activities for HV protection and SCADA/RTU systems at client sites
• Adhere to commissioning schedule and ensure handover with client sign-off
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide feedback for lessons learned
• Implement design changes and produce as-built mark-ups
• Coordinate with site manager and third-party providers on specific projects
• Produce progress reports and obtain client approval
• Conduct Safety Observation Tours and mitigate Hazards
• Handle snag lists independently and resolve issues
• Engage in technical discussions with customers during commissioning
• Attend FAT and SAT as required

Requisiti fondamentali

• Experience in P&C site commissioning of substations
• Experience with test devices (Omicron, Isa)
• Proven experience on Hitachi Microscada and RTU560
• Knowledge of PLC automation commissioning
• Knowledge of IEC104/101 and 61850 protocols
• Knowledge of Networking and network devices
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Willingness to travel ~80% to client sites
• Fluency in Italian and English
