Satispay is seeking a Collection Manager – Consumer Credit to own and evolve our end-to-end collection strategy across consumer lending products, with a strong emphasis on data, segmentation, and AI-driven decisioning. This role requires relocation to our Luxembourg office and interfacing with Finance, Product, Data, and Legal teams.

What you'll be doing

As our Collection Manager – Consumer Credit, you’ll be the person who owns and evolves our end-to-end collection strategy across consumer lending products, with a strong focus on data, segmentation, and AI-driven decisioning.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Design and execute data-driven collection strategies – Leveraging advanced analytics and predictive models to design collection strategies tailored to different risk profiles and product types.
• Develop AI-powered collection approaches – Driving the adoption of AI to enhance next-best-action logic, predictive contact strategies, and intelligent prioritization of accounts.
• Personalize customer engagement & tone of voice – Defining and implementing differentiated communication strategies, adapting tone, channel, and timing based on customer behavior.
• Optimize performance and ROI – Owning key collection KPIs (recovery rates, roll rates, cost-to-collect), ensuring all initiatives are measurable and ROI-positive.
• Guarantee service levels and compliance – Ensuring all collection activities meet defined SLAs and regulatory requirements, balancing effectiveness with fairness.
• Manage stakeholders and ecosystem – Collaborating closely with Finance, Product, Data, and Legal teams, while managing external partners like collection agencies.

Who we're looking for

• Deep experience in Consumer Credit & Collections – You have 7+ years of experience in collections within consumer lending (e.g., BNPL, unsecured/secured credit).
• Fintech, Banking, or Finance Background – Previous experience in a Fintech environment, modern Banking, or Financial Services.
• Knowledge of SEPA Framework – Familiarity with SEPA payment schemes and regulations is considered a strong plus.
• Strong Data & Analytical Mindset – Highly analytical and comfortable working with large datasets and segmentation models to drive decisions.
• AI & Innovation Orientation – Experience with AI applications in collections, such as predictive scoring or automated decisioning.
• Strategic Thinking & Execution – Ability to design sophisticated strategies while ensuring flawless operational execution.
• Customer-Centric Approach – Understanding how to influence customer behavior through tailored communication and channel optimization.
