The ideal candidate has senior finance experience in luxury hotels, multi-property exposure, and fluency in English and Italian; permanent, on-site employment with accommodation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Director of Finance/Financial Controller in luxury or ultra-luxury hotels or resorts
• Strong cluster/multi-property exposure preferred
• Solid leadership skills with a commercial mindset and hands-on approach
• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred

Responsibilities

• Financial Control: oversee sales, purchasing, salaries and expenses; implement policies; ensure audit compliance
• Financial Reporting: produce monthly GAAP reports; budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning; monthly and annual reporting
• Financial Performance: monitor budgets; report deviations; partner with two General Managers; establish local policies and controls
• Treasury & Tax: cash planning; review tax changes; support openings of new products; asset sales and reporting
• Liaise with Belmond regional and Paris offices; communicate with Divisional Financial Controllers and General Managers

Romazzino, a Belmond Hotel, Costa Smeralda is hiring through Hosco in Arzachena.We’re Hiring | Cluster Finance ControllerAn exceptional career opportunity for a senior hospitality finance leader to join two ultra-luxury resort hotels in Sardinia in a cluster leadership role.We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Cluster Finance Controller to lead financial operations, controls, and business performance across two flagship luxury properties.

Key Responsabilities:

• Financial Control:
  • Overseeing all sales, purchasing, salaries and expenses
  • Implementing and reviewing Financial policies
  • Audit compliance including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholders
• Financial Reporting:
  • Production of monthly financial reporting GAAP
  • Overseeing budgeting & forecasting process and long term planning
  • Monthly and annual reporting
• Financial Performance:
  • Responsible for monitoring budgets and for reporting major deviations of over-expenditure, under-budgeting or non-compliance to the approved budget
  • Business partner with two General Managers implementing controls, solutions, and action plans
  • Assist the General Managers in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls and safeguards that ensure profitability and control of operations
  • Advise and provide counsel to the General Managers, HODs and finance teams on all financial matters
• Treasury & Tax:
  • Treasury management, cash planning, reviewing the cash position in order to optimize the use of funds and minimize the volume of cash being held in the business
  • Review all changes of tax laws and accounting policies, assess their implications on the business and ensure the finance team implements appropriate changes
  • OtherSupport the financial function of any opening of new products
  • Assist with the accounting related to any hotel or other asset sales, product closure and ownership changes
  • Together with the General Managers, manage the relations with third party, owners and/or partners
  • Facilitate the best communication and reporting between the Belmond regional office in Milan and the Cheval Blanc corporate offices in Paris
  • Communicate relevant information to the Divisional Financial Controllers and the General Managers

Proven experience as Director of Finance / Financial Controller in luxury or ultra-luxury hotels or resorts

Strong cluster / multi-property exposure preferred

Solid leadership skills with commercial mindset and hands-on approach

• Fluent in English and Italian
• Permanent employment contract in accordance to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo (Confindustria)
