Amazon's MLA team is hiring a Sr. SoC Power Engineer to model and estimate power from RTL to gate-level netlist and to drive power reduction for the Inferentia and Trainium accelerators used in AI workloads in data centers worldwide.

You will partner with architects, designers, verification, software, and Physical Design to define best practices, develop power vectors for IR, thermal and power estimation, and provide feedback to RTL and PD teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or related field required.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred for enhanced power modeling capabilities.
• Experience with power analysis tools and lab measurement is essential.

Mansioni

• Full chip power analysis & modelling from RTL to gate-level netlist.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for power rollups.
• Create vectors for IR analysis, thermal analysis and power estimation with designers and architects.
• Provide feedback to RTL designers and PD on power reduction.
• Perform lab power measurements and correlate with simulations.
• Collaborate with Emulation engineers to model chip-level power consumption.
