Prometeia is seeking a Cloud Native Engineer to join the Cloud Team in Milan, Bologna and Rome. You will work on cloud workloads across AWS and Azure, contribute to migration and modernization projects, and develop automation pipelines with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.

You will collaborate across platforms, maintain cloud-native tools, and participate in international projects, while continuously growing your skills in a dynamic environment.

Competenze

• Experience in managing Linux/Windows OS, middleware (Java, .NET) and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (Bash or Python).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms (K8s, AKS, EKS, Docker).
• Good knowledge of automation technologies (Terraform and Ansible).

Mansioni

• Collaborate in design and implementation of cloud applications and migration/evolution projects, and support deployment and release of applications.
• Configure, maintain and evolve native operations tools for cloud platforms with monitoring, observability, performance and cost optimization.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Among the European leaders in Enterprise Risk Management and Wealth & Asset Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a Cloud Native Engineer to join the Cloud Team in Milan, Bologna and Rome office.

Candidates will take part of the Cloud&Platforms Practice, responsible for the Prometeia group of Cloud services and platforms enabling the SaaS offering of its solutions.

The candidate will operate and will ensure the correct execution of all workloads on the reference cloud hyperscalers platforms, including AWS and Azure.

He/she

• Will collaborate in the design and implementation of cloud applications and in application migration, evolution and modernisation projects and supports the deployment and release of applications;
• Will configure, maintain and evolve for continuous improvement of service levels the native operations tools of the main cloud hyperscaler platforms and any third-party solutions in a multi-cloud perspective for monitoring, observability, performance, capacity, cost optimisation, etc;
• Will Develop in Platform Engineering & Operations the implementation and maintenance of toolchains, automation tools and DevOps pipelines;

He/she may also be involved in internal product and solution development projects and on customer projects, including international projects. As an integral member of the team, he/she will be encouraged to maintain and evolve his/her skills in an ever-changing environment, to follow market innovations and solutions to improve and experiment with new ways and provide customers with ever higher levels of service and quality.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Even minimal experience in managing operating systems (Linux, Windows), main middleware (Java and .net) and Databse (SQL and NOSQL);
• Good knowledge of scripting languages, preferably Bash or Python;
• The following skills will be considered a plusknowledge of native Cloud technologies and platforms (e.g. K8s, AKS, EKS, Docker, containers);
• Good knowledge of software automation technologies such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Aptitude for working in a flexible and dynamic team environment;
• Good interpersonal skills.
